Top 5 Animes that will change your life
If my “Haki” is on point, then I’ll make a bold prediction by guessing your curiosity or your love for Anime (just like
mine) was the main reason you clicked on this post! Well, I can’t say I blame you. If you didn’t know, Anime
is a form of entertainment that has been around since the start of the 20th century and has garnered more and more people as
the years have gone by. For some of us, anime has been part of our lives right from childhood and has helped shape the way by
which we live our day to day lives. I myself, am a good example of this Phenomena because I’ve always been very lazy and
reluctant to get things done but only after watching animes like History Strongest Disciple Kenichi, was only then I
could understand the true value of “Hard work”. So in order to pay my respect, I’ll like to use this opportunity to list out the
Top 5 Anime’s that have played a major role in my life and hopefully in yours as well.
If you or anyone claims to be an Anime watcher, and haven’t seen the anime Death Note, then you should probably leave this
post and start watching it “Immediately” and just then you’ll be able to understand what Greatness you’ve been missing out
on. TBH, this was the anime that dragged me into the land of Anime. Before that, I was only into mainstream ones like Dragon
Ball Z, Bleach, Naruto etc. Also as I kept watching Death Note, I was on the fence when it came to Light vs L. I didn’t want
either side to lose because they were both fighting for the same thing (in my opinion). Even though lights methods where extreme
and borderline Psychotic, he still brought results because indeed, there was less crime in the world. Till this day, I haven’t really
come to terms on who should have won the intense battle between Good and Evil but it did teach me one thing tho, and that is
There’s a clear Difference between “Good” and “Justice”.
Imagine what it will be like if the Government made a new system that could analyze the Mental state and Personal
Tendencies of everyone, making it so that everybody got what they truly deserved? Well, Psycho-Pass answers that
question as it takes us into the lives of a young inspector Akane Tsunemori and her squad of Enforcers or Latent Criminals
who uphold “Justice” with the help of the Sibyl system that does all the judging for them. However, as she works alongside
veteran Enforcer Shinya Kougami (and former Inspector), she soon learns that the Sibyl System’s judgments are not as perfect
as her fellow Inspectors assume and things go from bad to worse very quickly.
The good thing I liked about the Sibyl system was its ability to give one a good evaluation of their Strengths and Weaknesses
making it easy for everyone to make the “best” life choice possible. The bad part of it as well as all technology today is they’re
not perfect, making it a Biased system which cannot be trusted. The first season and the movie where great but the
second season wasn’t really appealing to me (Probably because kougami wasn’t there) However, I learned something important
after seeing this, and that is “Being safe isn’t the same as Being Free”. There’s always a price to pay no matter the cause.
So, the question is would you rather be 100% safe but have your life stuffed with so many regulations at all times you
can’t breathe or be 100% free, however, leave in constant fear that the person next to you might be up to no good? I would
really love to know what you guys think in the comments.
History’s Strongest Disciple Kenichi
If you read my introduction, then you’ve already been spoiled. To summarize this anime in a nutshell, “Hard work always
beats talent”. The reason this particular anime stands out from other fighting animes, (Even one of my best Haime no Ippo ) is
the fact that Kenichi had no talent whatsoever in martial arts. However, with time, he was able to walk his way to the top thanks
to the Gruesome training from his masters and his “Girlfriend” Mui who encouraged him all the time. The thing that most
people fail to understand is the fact that nothing Good ever comes Easy. Sometimes we may be lucky and have certain
Productive talents but if we don’t build upon that we will never reach our Full Potential in life. As I stated earlier I used to be
quite lazy and even overweight but after watching this anime I was inspired to muscle through my laziness and finally achieve
the Goal I always dreamed about. I guess the Moral to be learned from all this is it doesn’t matter how long it takes to reach your
goals as long as you’ve made your mind up and put in the effort just like Kenichi did.
In case you haven’t noticed, I’m into the Psychological Genre of anime. In other words, I like to get Mind F*****. But
after seeing this anime, I was thrown into a Psychological warfare with my mind because I still haven’t come to a conclusion
as to what I would do if I was hurled into a scenario like this (Shiki). Ill advice anyone who hasn’t seen this to give it a shot. But
just a fair warning, it gets quite gruesome towards the end so if you can’t handle Gore then don’t bother. Just to give you guys a
quick breakdown, it’s basically about a small remote village that’s surrounded by Death all year round, however, the death toll
suddenly spikes up when a group of strangers moved into a Secluded mansion in the village. And The worst part of it all is that
things become more Sinister as the village doctor, as well as the village children, try to get to the bottom of the problem. The
theme of the anime is simply “Survival of the Fittest”. Also, this anime does a fine job of exploring the thin line that separates
Men from the so-called “Monsters” we have nightmares about. It just proves the point that when a man is pushed to his
Breaking point, he loses self- control and thus does things that are out of the ordinary. That’s probably why the villagers
continued to turn a blind eye to the events that occurred. But let me know what you guys think in the comments.
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (FMAB)
They say you should always leave your best for last. Unfortunately, this isn’t my best anime (even though it has a spot at the top
of my list). Nonetheless, if you haven’t seen it, I would advise you to do so and I say that not because of all the cool alchemist
like “Colonel Mustang” or the amazing story it has but, it was FMAB that transformed me from a Blue To A Red pilled
individual and it’s thanks to a simple but great concept called “Equivalent Exchange”.Unfortunately, there are still people on
earth that believe this theory is just fiction. But if you stop and take a moment to think about it outside the realm of alchemy,
then it’ll all start to make sense. For instance, let’s just say you want to do very well in school, you must be willing to give up most,
if not all your Spare time in order to succeed. Another example could be that you want to get in good shape for the summer but
to do that, you would have to sacrifice your sweet addictions such as junk food, stop staying up late at night to get some rest for
your body and worst, spend time at the gym to achieve that great physique for the summer. A much simpler example is going into
a store to buy a PS4 however, you would have to fork up some cash to claim the console that you desire. I could go on and on but
I’m sure by now you get the point and that is “Humankind cannot gain anything without giving something in
return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost”. To Achieve Success, Freedom, Safety, Liberation etc,
You or anyone must be willing to give something of equal value to reach that goal. This is why Edward and Alphonso could
not bring their mom back to life and that’s because there is nothing in this world equivalent to “Death”. Although there are some
cases where one might be lucky and get what he or she wants but pay little or nothing in return, somewhere along the line they’re
bound to hit a roadblock sooner or later in their life and that’s because true success is not born from luck but Hard work.
